Nancy A. Di Bernardo oversees the sales operations and marketing efforts for The Setai Group and all of its development projects. Her responsibilities include management of the overall sales and marketing process and related strategies, including supervision of the Miami sales team and all advertising, public relations and event activities. She joined the Company in November 2000.
Prior to joining The Setai Group, Ms. Di Bernardo spent 11 years at ABC, Inc. in New York, where she held various positions in corporate public relations and marketing. Most recently, Ms. Di Bernardo served as Director of Corporate Projects and Synergy, where she was responsible for the coordination of cross-promotional marketing activities between ABC and its parent, The Walt Disney Company. She was also responsible for the management of several public relations departments including the ABC Foundation, Audience Information, Corporate Initiatives, as well as all corporate involvement in charitable and industry-related functions and the operation of senior management meetings.
A graduate of Colby College in Waterville, Maine, Ms. Di Bernardo earned a Masters of Arts in Communications Studies: Public Relations and Advertising from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. She also completed the Capital Cities/ABC Program for Developing Managers at Simmons College in Boston.
Cecilia Solorzano
Cecilia Solorzano oversees the sales operations for The Setai Realty. Her responsibilities as broker and managing director of Setai Realty include management of the sales team, close supervision of the sales process and coordination of all closings. She joined the Company in December 2000.
Prior to joining The Setai, Mrs. Solorzano spent 4 years at Terremark, Inc. in Miami, where she held various positions in the realty, development, marketing and public relations departments.
A graduate of Florida International University, Mrs. Solorzano holds a double major in Marketing and International Business. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors. She has been a member since 1999.
Diana Garchitorena
Diana joined The Setai sales team in February 2001, during the pre construction stage of The Setai Resort & Residences project. As one of the three Sales Associates, she proceeded to generate over $185 million dollars of real estate transactions concentrating on the luxury condominium and hotel condo investment properties market.
Diana studied Marketing at the University of Miami and Fashion Merchandising at The Berkeley School before moving to New York City to begin her career. She honed her selling skills in the highly competitive garment industry in the Big Apple. While there, she launched highly successful clothing lines for infants and toddlers and became a Sales Manager for a west coast designer.
After nine years, she then changed directions in her career and moved to Los Angeles where she became a Human Resource Director for a fledgling special effects company. Under her guidance and direction, the company soon grew from 20 employees to 130 employees in just two short years, thus becoming one of the leading special effects companies in the entertainment industry.
Six years later, a weekend visit to South Beach brought her an introduction and an opportunity to work for The Setai Group and a chance to move back to Miami where the real estate industry was just beginning to grow.
George S. Thomas
George S. Thomas joined The Setai Realty Sales Team in February 2008. A seasoned general real estate executive, Mr. Thomas has extensive experience selling and marketing The Setai Resort and Residences in the general marketplace. In February 2005, Mr. Thomas was the first to achieve the $1500/sqft purchase price for a decorator- ready Setai unit.
Prior to his career in real estate, Mr. Thomas spent 10 years in the technology industry working on large engineering and IT projects. Simultaneously, he freelanced in real estate in New York and Connecticut. When he fell in love with the real estate business, he decided to pursue the business full-time the Miami Beach market where he opened DMT Real Estate Investments LLC, a small professional service-oriented real estate office. After three years of brokering deals with clients to buy, sell and manage Setai product, George joined The Setai Realty Sales Team. Mr. Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge of the Miami Beach luxury market along with his Setai experience.
A graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Mr. Thomas studied engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology as well as at Cornell University. He also studied business at the Renssellaer Lally School of Business
